Questions, restores, and anything that isn't working.

Email leaflog.app@proton.me. There is no account behind the app, so tell us what you saw and which iPhone and iOS version you're on.

How do I move my journal to a new iPhone?

With Leaflog+: on the new iPhone, choose Restore from Leaflog+ during setup (or Settings → Leaflog+), sign in with Apple, and unlock with your iCloud Keychain or your recovery code. Without Leaflog+: create an export from Settings on the old iPhone, move the file however you like, and import it on the new one.

I lost my recovery code.

If your iCloud Keychain still holds the key, restore works without the code. If you have neither, the backup cannot be read by anyone, including us. There is no password reset and no support-assisted recovery. The journal on your current iPhone is unaffected.

How do I export my journal?

Settings → Export. Choose a JSON archive (a .zip with your photos), CSV for spreadsheets, or Markdown to read. Export is free for everyone and never uses the network.

Can I import an export?

Yes: Settings → Import, then choose a JSON archive .zip or a bare export.json. Everything in it is added alongside what you already have; nothing is replaced or removed.

How do I delete my data?

Deleting the app permanently deletes everything on the device. If you subscribed to Leaflog+, delete the account from Settings → Leaflog+ → Account, which removes all server-side data immediately and revokes the Sign in with Apple connection.

How do I cancel Leaflog+?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Your journal stays fully usable without Leaflog+. Encrypted backups are kept for 90 days after a lapse so you can come back or restore, then permanently deleted.

Which devices does Leaflog run on?

iPhone and iPad running iOS 18 or later, from the App Store. Rated 17+. Not available in France.

Does Leaflog have accounts or analytics?

No. There are no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs, with or without Leaflog+. Without Leaflog+ there are no accounts, no sign-in, and no network connections at all; with it, an account exists only because you subscribed, via Sign in with Apple.
